Manuia Polynesian Revue

I had a great time photographing some of the ladies of Manuia. I wanted to try a little something different and incorporate some off camera lighting to really separate them from their environment. The ladies brought a lot of Polynesian flair and color to gray San Francisco. I love the contrast. Shout out to Karl the Fog for some diffused lighting.

Sara & Finau

Not too often I get an opportunity to photograph a wedding infused with Tongan tradition. Sara was stunning in her handcrafted and painted dress. She looked like a queen. Fitting that she was getting married to her king, Finau. I had a great time and was reminded about how special family is. Many thanks to coordinators and staff at the Willow Heights Mansion in Morgan Hill.
