A little sneak peek at Krystle + Arvin’s nuptials. With the fires that were choking the Northern California skies, night came really fast. The sky gave off this ominous, yet beautiful grayish orange glow. I wanted to use that ambient light to my advantage. I’m glad Krystle was game, and this was the result.
I love the fact I can retrofit Sony A-Mount SSM autofocus lenses, on one of the most fun AF film SLR’s, the Minolta α-7. Shooting film gives that feeling of anxiety, anticipation, and rewarding joy especially when your roll of film is exposed and composed correctly. Film always brings me back to why I loved photography in the first place.

I had a really fun time photographing some commercial photos for Haute Bride x Hayley Paige. With me for this shoot were the wonderful Chantelle Paige and Madison Fisher. They absolutely killed it here, in the forest groves of the Presidio.
